PRIDE DAY 2008: SCIENTOLOGY LOATHES GAY PEOPLE

Just in time for gay Pride Day on June 29, 2008, in San Francisco, the indispensable Dr. Lilly von Marcab has published Scientology: Gays and Lesbians should be quarantined and institutionalized.

In the Scientology cult's most sacred text, "Dianetics," written in the early 1950s, a modern reader is somewhat startled to find this passage:

"The sexual pervert (and by this term Dianetics, to be brief, includes any and all forms of deviation in dynamic two [sexuality and procreation] such as homosexuality, lesbianism, sexual sadism, etc., and all down the catalog of Ellis and Krafft-Ebing) is actually quite ill physically." (L. Ron Hubbard, "Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health")

The cult's founder, science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard, felt LGBTQ people were malicious, untrustworthy and incredibly dangerous to society. In his follow-up book, "Science of Survival," he establishes a "tone scale," ranging from -3 to +4, for classifying categories of people and evaluating human behavior. "Perverts," as he classified LGBTQ people, fall at 1.1 on Hubbard's scale. He considered them to be extremely dangerous to society.

"At 1.1 on the tone scale we enter the area of the most vicious reversal of the second dynamic. Here we have promiscuity, perversion, sadism, and irregular practices…. People on this level on the second dynamic are intensely dangerous in the society, since aberration is contagious. A society which reaches this level is on its way out of history, as went the Greeks, as went the Romans, as goes modern European and American culture. Here is a flaming danger signal which must be heeded if a race is to go forward…. The person may claim to love others and to have the good of others as his foremost interest; yet, at the same moment, he works, unconsciously or otherwise, to injure or destroy the lives and reputations of people and also to destroy property… No social order which desires to survive dates overlook its stratum 1.1's. No social order will survive which does not remove these people from its midst…. Such people should be taken from the society as rapidly as possible and uniformly institutionalized; for here is the level of the contagion of immorality, and the destruction of ethics." (L. Ron Hubbard, "Science of Survival")
We hope that gay people will help us spread the word and join the struggle to put an end to the human rights abuses (false imprisonment, child abuse, elder abuse etc.) that occur primarily in it's elite Sea Org that serves as slave labor for the cult's administration. Sea Org was heartily lampooned at Anon's Sea Org vs. Sea Arrrgh monthly raid or demonstration in June. The Anonymous Pirates raided orgs around the world with their awesome flags and costumes.

Epic Mary Sue Sea Arrrgh Speech in San Francisco

At the Anonymous San Francisco Sea Org vs Sea Arrrgh raid on June 14, 2008, Mary Sue delivered the speech below. This is the first speech written, published, and delivered by a femanon, and another epic Anonymous speech. Along with the State of the Insurgency Address. it illuminates the ideas and passions that are driving the Anonymous Revolution. Props to you Mary Sue.

We have gathered here today to bring to light the truth about the dangerous, corrupt, and fraudulent organization known as Scientology. We stand before you masked in the hopes that in so doing your attention may be drawn away from our individual identities and focused upon the ideas we present. United by the power of ideas, united in the hope for true freedom of information, united in the fight for justice and the pursuit of happiness; united as one, we are Anonymous.

We may confuse you. A collective like our own has no concrete boundaries, no membership cards. There is no one definition of who we are - each one of us will give a different answer, but at the heart of each can be found this one truth held in common: we are a movement built upon the power of ideas.

There are many of you who walk by not knowing who we are, what we stand for, thinking of us as a rowdy group of young adults based on the web. And to some degree, we are. We support the communications platform known as the internet, we support the free flow of information across the world, we use the image boards and online forums to express ourselves, to share thoughts, to create plans. But that is not all we are.

We are your waiter at the restaurant
We are the bag boy at the supermarket
We are the college student you see at the coffee shop cramming for finals
The history teacher at the high school who inspires your child to make a difference in the world
The grandfather doting on his grandson
We are the disconnected parents, children, siblings, and friends whose loved ones have shut us out of their lives because of Scientology told them to.

We are your fellow Americans, Germans, English, Canadians, Japanese, Australians, Swedes and more, who believe that if you do not exercise your rights, you lose them, and who believe that you must stand up and fight for what you believe in when it is threatened, for it is only in so doing that we show that we ever held those beliefs at all.

We stand together to fight for the basic rights that Scientology seeks to destroy. We fight against their corrupt policies – their harassment of critics, their blatant abuse of copyright and censorship law, their hierarchical pyramid scheme that bleeds its own members dry.

We fight for the freedom of speech, knowledge and truth.
We fight for those who are trapped within Scientology, believing themselves utterly isolated from any source of help.
We fight for those who 'don't see why not' when asked if they would like to take a 'free' test.
We fight for those who have never heard of Scientology and for those who have died because of it.
We fight because we can. We fight because its right.

We are your neighbors, your friends, your bosses and your employees, your sons and your daughters, your brothers, your sisters, your husbands and your wives.
We are the internet made manifest, bound together by the power of shared ideas. We are Anonymous
We can not, we will not forget
We are here for you - expect us.

Jesus liked what she said so much he hugged her.
