Here's how an anon becomes an anon. The awesome Top Gun Girl.

First (and probably only) Blog Post.

I don't normally write these things because honestly, I barely have enough to say as it is. I just thought it would be nice to put down my thoughts because there are some things I'd like to say to you all.

When the Call to Arms first came out I was beyond excited. I live a relatively quiet life. This was something I hadn't really seen before. Really, just some dude off the internet made that video. Probably to get a good laugh and go "Hey guys look how I totally freaked these people out!" Either way though, it had me hooked. I sat and watched from the sidelines as this entire thing unfurled, and then picked up a mask at the store on February 10th on the walk to the protest.

What happened that day solidified my decision to continue protesting as long as Anons were up to it. I went home, looked some stuff up, got a little smarter, and decided that maybe there was more of a purpose to this thing than I originally thought. They say people train you to be submissive and complacent with your place in life and I believe that's true. I'm glad I saw otherwise in this case. Though I still generally like to sit on the side and watch, I feel a more a part of it than any other cause I've touched upon.

March 15th rolls around and we have another fantastic protest. I make some new friends. Most whose names I'll probably never know outside of raids. The ning starts up and I start meeting more people. All the awesome people who are part of this community started popping up and now I consider myself truly lucky to be among you. You're all unique and just plain awesome in your own way. Everyone comes from a different viewpoint, has something different to add, has something uniquely offensive to say (XD). It makes me really glad to be a part of this funny little anonymous family. :)

Anons told her to keep blogging and how much they love her.

The Anonymous The State of the Insurgency Address is delivered by Leninanon.

Update: Here is a great video of the Address by sidcortes

"We are the internet incarnate. ... Church of Scientology the game is over."

Anonymous in San Francisco delivers this powerful message

San Francisco, April 12, 2008

My brothers and sisters,

I am pleased to join with you today in what will go down in history as the start of a new chapter in world history.

A faceless, nameless, leaderless group only connected through ideas and the information super highway has borne upon the world one of the most rapidly growing insurgency forces seen in the 21st century.

The future belongs to those who prepare for it today. One hundred years from now, will the society we live in be crippled by the manacles of censorship and the chains of ignorance? One hundred years later, will your voice live on a lonely island of silence in the midst of a vast ocean of copyright content? One hundred years later, will the network we protect still be languishing in the corners of American hypocrisy?

So we have come here today to dramatize an appalling condition. A corporation that has the legal means to censor you, to censor the network, a corporation that abuses it’s members and uses the legal system not as a shield, but, as a weapon of terror.

On January 21, 2008, on Youtube, an anonymous user posted a video vowing to put an end to the inalienable human rights abuses of the Church of Scientology - an organization that bullies and terrorizes its own members, the government of the United States, the media, and will stop at nothing to destroy those who speak out against it.

That historic video and the words within came as a great beacon light and hope to millions of citizens of the internet.

It called to arms a generation that has no wars worth fighting for.

It called to us to wake up, to become aware.

It galvanized us.

Three months ago, we were described as basement dwellers, hackers on steroids, bored kids from abusive families, religious bigots, Nazis, the KKK, minions of evil psychiatrists, and, best of all, space alien terrorists.

I see none of these here today. What I see is the future.

Make no mistake. This is a revolution of all the children of the internet. Wherever you came from, wherever you heard the call, all that is important is that you are here and you are not going away until your voice has been heard.

It would be fatal for the nation to underestimate our determination. The year 2008 is not the end. It is the beginning. Those who hope that Anonymous will be content with just blowing off steam will have a rude awakening. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of the cult until their day of justice is at hand.

Some of you have come here out of great trials and tribulations. Some of you have come fresh from joining our cause. Some of you have been working tirelessly for months to make these events occur. Some of you have come from social groups where your quest for knowledge left you battered by the storms of persecution. You have been the veterans of creative suffering. Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive. You are making a difference.

Our freedom is inexplicably tied with this fight, with this war. Within the dismantlement of the church lies our greatest achievement thus far.

A message to the world that we as a whole are a force to be reckoned with.

Go back to your forums,
go back to your blogs,
go back to your image boards,
go back to whatever dark places you come from on the internet.

Know that this war can and will be won.

We are the force of a new generation.
We are the internet incarnate.
We are the force of ideas.
Spread the good news like wildfire that Anonymous can and will prevail.

Every switch will be exalted and every resource be made open. The complex will be made plain, the unexplained explained, and the glory of the network shall be revealed, and all users shall bask in its digital sunrise.

Church of Scientology, the game is over.

We are Anonymous.
We are Legion.
We do not forgive.
We do not forget.

United as one.
Divided by zero.

Expect us.

San Franisco, California, April 8:

At their April 12 Operation Reconnect protest, Anonymous of San Francisco will dedicate a White Rose Anonymous flag to Arnie Lerma, one of the great Critics of Scientology. Lerma likens Anonymous to the student-led White Rose movement of Munich in 1942 and 1943. A small group of students led by Sophie Scholl, her brother Hans, and their friend Christoph Probst, clandestinely distributed anti-Nazi fliers. They were caught, tried for treason, and executed.

For reaction of anons on the SF Anon forum We Are Legion, see here. The flag was designed by the awesome tintinanon.

The White Rose Anonymous flag will be unfurled for the first time at 1:00 pm on April 12. A young anonymous will deliver a speech dedicating the flag to Arnie Lerma, and through him, all the Critics of Scientology.

Immediately after, Disconnected Son will speak about his experience of being cut off from his father at the age of nine at order of the Church of Scientology. He has spoken to his father once for twenty minutes in the ensuing twenty years. After the speech Disconnected Son will feed the protesters with a White Rose cake, bearing the words "I love you Dad! - Disconnected Son."

The protest takes place at Transamerica plaza across from the Church of Scientology starting at 11:00 am . The dedication of the flag takes place at 1:00 pm. Anonymous has encouraged everyone to bring white roses to share among the protesters. To prevent being identified by the cult's prevate investigators, masks are advisable.

One of the anons involved in the project said, "The White Rose Anonymous Flag is a response to the cult's accusations of terrorism and religious hate crimes. Anonymous is the heir of the White Rose movement. They fought destructive tyranny and so do we. They were students and so are we. It is not a crime to hate crime. And what terrorists hold peaceful protests, bring garbage bags for trash, and write thank you notes to the police? White Rose Anonymous will prevail."

Flag is unfurled by Ming the Magnificent, Top Gun Girl, and Anmoyunos to the 1812 Overture.

Speech is delivered by BeeHive:

In Munich in 1942 the student White Rose movement rose to protest and bring down Nazi tyranny. Under the leadership of Sophie Scholl, her brother Hans, and their friend Christoph Probst, students clandestinely distributed anti-Nazi fliers. They were arrested and executed. Sophie was 22. Hans was 25. Christoph was 24.

Our friend Arnie Lerma, one of the great Critics of Scientology, likens Anonymous to the White Rose movement of 1942. Anonymous is a movement of students and like the White Rose of Munich we will longer tolerate the tyranny the cult exercises over its members.

Today we gather to protest its practice of disconnection that destroys families.
Today we protest the bullying and intimidation that keeps many from speaking out.

Today with Disconnected Son we will reconnect what has been disconnected.
Together we will rebuild what has been destroyed by Home Wreckers International.

Today we invite men and women of good will everywhere to join us it exposing the human rights abuses of this cult.

Dear Arnie, today Anonymous stands and salutes you. We, the Anonymous of San Francisco, dedicate to you and all the Critics of Scientology, this White Rose Anonymous flag.

Anonymous delivers.

Under this flag Anonymous of San Francisco and Munich and all the world will prevail.

We are Anonymous.
We are Legion.
We do not forgive.
We do not forget.

Expect us.

There follow rickroll, hugs, and group SF anon shots.

Disconnected Son then speaks. When he is finished he distributes delicious caek.

The State of the Insurgency Address is then delivered by Anonymous. A procession forms and everyone marches around the org. Epic win and many lulz ensue. Raids to North Beach and the Ferry Building follow.

The speech of Disconnected Son has already been leaked to Projekt Chanology Munich on their page Brief von Anonymous Sanfagcisco. The State of the Insurgency Address will be published here after it is delivered. It is powerful.
